Man I am tiRED. I am only halfway thru the weekend and I already feel like I have been up and about non-stop. Don't get me wrong, am happy to do them all but when you have been functioning with little sleep everything is like a bit of a haze.
Like now. I should really sleep cause I'm knackered but I can't seem to move myself to the bedroom. Instead I am sitting here as if stoned and wondering why after catching the second half of the Curse of the Golden Flower that I truly didn't get the point of it. Such wonderful fighting scenes and the whole bit where the Emperor stabs his son with his hair chopstick was particularly memorable. But to what end is this movie all about??? So does that mean the Emperor goes on as a tyrant? So the Empress whacks away the poison so does that mean she then
gets murdered or continues to drink the poison? So is she truly mad? Who is the heir now? Why can't he just divorce her? What is the meaning to this movie??? Sheeesh..
Hark! Is that the rain and the drum rolls of thunder?? Suddenly the thought of sleeping is so inviting!
*scampers off to bed*
