Hades

Forgive me if I lose myself in you to find myself. I know not what I touch and burn just with the tip of my tongue. Time and space equals unrelenting fear. My fall from grace is yours to claim. I would speak the truth but I have no wish to repent. The Devil mocks me and taunts the words of a promise made long ago. He has come to collect in full and with interest due. I write in prose but think in verses so how can you not see the difference in my rhymes. I ask you questions but found none which comforts me. The flame burns a little longer before I am lost to the shadows again. We play this game so aptly you and I, but the world becomes smaller with every breath that's taken. I remember you and the ties which binds us, the comfort you felt as I forsaked you. I live with the knowledge that inactions have effects but compassion came too late. I wish I could credit you with every inch of my success but I am greedy to a fault that the tank is left empty. This torrent of guilt sweeps me off my feet, I know not how to redeem myself. Let me dwell and rule this underworld.
