Even the simplest things can be taken for granted. As per usual in today's maddening technology obsessive world I had to log in to a system. Ten tries and I was still getting nowhere. You would think it was the password which incidentally was made out of a combination of upper case letters, numbers and lower case letters, that would have been the stumbling block. Yet after actually scrutinizing the darn log-in page, I noticed that it was my name which I had misspelled. How appropriate. It seems to sum up my present state beautifully that I could even get my own name wrong. I should really attempt to live my life.
