A Moment Paused

I am going to spend some time writing this. Just to get it out of my system and then I’m done.

Human beings are strange creatures. We always want what we cant have and when we actually get it, it amuses us for awhile and then we revert back to our greedy selves. Pathetic really.

Relationships take a lot of work. It doesn’t get any easier just because it becomes official in your eyes or even the eyes of society. It is just as mired with all sorts of traps and pitfalls. So you try to tread carefully and be the best you can be. Because living for one self only is a child’s motto and we have grown even if we are far from being any wiser. But there is no infinity to it. There is sometimes a lesson that needs to be learned by the giver and at times the givee. One can only hope that in time we learn the measure of success is not in the accolades we collect or the money in the bank but the quality of person we are and to have those views shared by others.

If we forget to turn anger to calm, we should at the very least have the strength to also walk away.
