Hey - it is 3am and I am totally wired. I wish to walk around my place just in my underclothes but I guess that's just one more thing I need to compromise when it is not my own castle.
I had the best time tonight. Unexpected pleasures are the best. Just chilling with like-minded minds and getting completely intertwined between the champagne, red wine and the single malt whisky (yuck). So I am writing this to the tune to ALL AMERICAN REJECT'S "I WANNA" and wanting so much to be able to say this. But I can't. Because I am still rock n rolling and finding myself.
So eventually it was time for home. So I let my BFF drive my baby as I mimed the drums and sang the lead home. And we laughed and sang to "Cool" and agreed it was our song.
The best nights are the unexpected ones. So eventhough it would have been perfect to come home to someone for a cuddle before sleep. That can wait. Cause I can wait forever, as long as it's for the right person. Thank you for the offer but I am worth much more than that so this heart is going to hold out just a little longer. For the perfect crime. Because I paid my dues and I want someone who would fight for me.
