The curse of Romeo & Juliet

First Chapter
So he stands there, looking upwards into the pitch black sky which was illuminated by the flirtatious moon. The lady of the night decked in a necklace of stars, almost goading his foolish heart. For that one split second he considered the consequences but common sense takes a backseat to amorous passion. After all, aren't moments that defines us? So he shrugs his wavy mane, the bravery of youth on his side. A deep breath and up he climbed to claim his Juliet.

Last Chapter
She awoken to feel the soft touch of her Romeo. The familiar smell of comfort that once upon a morning they shared together. Yet there was the tinge of panic that quickens her pulse. One look and she knew that Life and its splendour has taken leave of her Romeo. With regret and unexplainable grief she paused, but only a second. To consider living without Reason, to imagine years in the future and found that no happiness could be conjured in her tortured mind. She considers allowing grief to consume her but then selfishness engulfs her. She strokes his wavy mane and slips his knife into her soul. A deep breath and down she fell limply on her Romeo.

"There are two tragedies in life: one is not to get your heart's desire. The other is to get it." George Bernard Shaw.
